CAE USA INC Airline Technical Support Engineer in Madrid, Spain

By joining our 24/7 Technical Support team, you will become part of a dedicated global team focused on supporting our clients operating fleet, ensuring aircraft reliability and availability, while also remaining compliant with applicable airworthiness regulations. Are you ready to:

  • Plan, monitor and control maintenance activities of aircraft under CAE Management in real-time.

  • Manage Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations and expedite repairs.

  • Liaise with OEM on technical issues.

  • Act as a point of contact between maintenance and flight crews, CAMO, MRO/Part-145, Flight Ops, Logistics, ensuring effective communication between the parts.

  • Provides technical guidance to maintenance personnel, flight crews and ground personnel, and is available for consultation and decisions on technical operational and procedural matters.

  • Troubleshoot and address aircraft technical defects.

  • Control and track defects using the maintenance management software, liaising with the client and MRO providers for defect rectification.

  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop solutions for recurring problems.

  • Maintain accurate records of aircraft maintenance activities.

  • Source components from approved vendors in support of the operating fleets.

  • Liaise with vendors and manage RFQ’s, PO’s, and shipping information.

    Our ideal candidate has:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical roles within Airline's Technical Services, MCC, MRO or component supplier.

  • Possession of a relevant Engineering Degree or EASA/A&P maintenance license.

  • Familiarity with global civil aviation regulations and requirements (EASA/FAA).

  • A proactive attitude and able to take the initiative to address technical challenges.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, handle multiple concurrent projects and initiatives in a cross-functional setting.

  • Skill in simplifying complex processes and work under pressure.

  • Strong focus on client satisfaction and delivering exceptional service.

  • Flexibility in scheduling, ability to work shifts and weekends as required.

  • Availability to respond on short notice.

    Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior working experience with Boeing and/or Airbus aircraft families is advantageous.
