Job Description Verification and Validation Engineer Summary As a Verification and Validation Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that Accuray\'s products, systems, and software meets its design specifications by meticulously verifying and validating its functionality throughout the development lifecycle, confirming that it performs as intended and is fit for its intended use, involving the creation and execution of test plans, analyzing results, and identifying any discrepancies to guarantee quality standards are met. A successful Verification and Validation Engineer will have an excellent ability to solve difficult problems, will be flexible in their approach, will have a strong attention to detail and will hold themselves to a high standard. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Requirements analysis: Thoroughly reviewing and understanding user and system requirements documents to develop comprehensive test strategies. Test plan creation: Designing and documenting detailed test plans outlining test cases, environments, and acceptance criteria. Test case development: Writing and executing test cases to cover all aspects of the product functionality. Test execution: Performing testing activities, including functional, performance, regression, usability, and system integration testing. Defect management: Identifying, logging, and tracking defects found during testing. Test environment management Identify, configure and maintain hardware and software test environments.
