Description We are looking for a UX Content Writer to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is situated in the Financial Services industry and is an integral part of our operations. The UX Content Writer will work on creating clear, concise, and compelling messaging for our applications, enhancing the overall user experience. This role involves close collaboration with Designers, Product Managers, and Developers to shape the narrative and voice of our digital experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Develop compelling content that simplifies the user experience
• Collaborate with UX designers, technologists, usability specialists, and experience owners to enhance user comprehension and satisfaction
• Use empathy and evidence to inform content choices and recommendations
• Work with UX Research to gather evidence that guides content choices and recommendations
• Challenge existing terminology, test for comprehension, and push for accessible alternatives
• Provide constructive, intelligent feedback to teams and business stakeholders, suggesting definitive recommendations for future work
• Craft clear and compelling copy for digital products, showcasing strong communication and design skills
• Incorporate human-centered design principles into work and advocate for the needs of the user
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Contribute to the broader success of the organization, recognizing the intersection between design, business goals, and technical constraints. Requirements • Proficiency in UX design and wire framing techniques
• Strong communication skills to effectively articulate design concepts and ideas
• Experience in researching and understanding user needs
• Ability to create compelling content for websites and digital platforms
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology and ability to work in an Agile environment
• Experience in financial services industry is a must
• Ability to perform ad hoc financial analyses to support design decisions
• Experience in working with stakeholders, partners, and integration teams
• Proficiency in Assertion Markup Language
• Ability to create prototypes to demonstrate design concepts
• Strong understanding of usability principles and optimization techniques
• Ability to conduct and utilize user research to inform design decisions
• Familiarity with voice user interface design is an advantage
