JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Pediatric Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Program Coordinator will contribute to the development and implementation of departmental medical student programming across the four year curriculum, as well as ongoing program evaluation, improvement, and expansion; partnering with key stakeholders including the Director of Pediatric UME; Course Directors; and Program Manager and Assistant. The UME Program Coordinator will: assist with the development and implementation of multi-source assessments; organize didactic sessions; partner with clinical divisions to create student clinical schedules; orient department and affiliate coordinators and teaching faculty to curriculum, policies and logistics; and serve as a primary contact for the program and as a resource to advise learners of policies and procedures. The UME Program Coordinator will have a thorough understanding of internal and external accreditation rules and regulations; maintain accurate records of curriculum, evaluations and participation; and assist with the management of the education budget and processing of expenses. Responsibilities: Coordinates and contributes to the development and implementation of the administrative activities of a health professions program as outlined in accreditation program requirements and other regulatory agencies.
