Primary Responsibilities The Transportation Hydraulics Engineer is responsible to provide technical expertise and leadership support in project delivery, business development, and growth of HDR\'s Transportation Hydraulics Group in the Minnesota/Wisconsin Region. Primary duties include: Focus on hydraulics and hydrology modeling, transportation drainage system design, stormwater collection systems modeling, and report writing Produce design calculations, draft technical reports and perform water resources studies Oversight of technical project delivery Oversight of subconsultant designs Quality control Junior staff development and mentoring Business development and marketing support Assist in developing and implementing strategies to grow the Transportation Hydraulics services through increasing market share with existing clients and diversification of the client base. Serve as Project Manager / Hydraulics Lead on key projects and may lead and coordinate hydraulics services with other business groups within the North Central Region.
