As the Sr Manager - Direct Sales, you will be responsible for the sales performance of TDS\'s Cable and Wireline direct sales revenue generating activities in the consumer segment. This responsibility includes managing operations to add and retain profitable residential customers via direct sales (door to door) activities. This includes the management of internal associates and communication with external vendors. In addition, you will be responsible for consumer direct sales planning and development, improving sales results and culture, and partnering with Marketing and Product Management leadership to develop aligned consumer sales tactics for the direct sales channel. You will consult on projects completed by other departments within the organization. In this role, you will manage and direct several teams critical to executing TDS\'s strategy: The Consumer Sales wireline and cable direct sales teams which acquire consumer wireline customers in order to achieve sales and revenue targets. External vendor relationships which supplement our internal teams in order to achieve sales and revenue targets. The Consumer Direct Sales Enablement team which is responsible for supporting the direct sales team though tracking, reporting, policy management and process improvements. Although our preferred candidate would reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Madison, WI, this position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates. Responsibilities Lead the strategy and implementation of all consumer direct sales activities for the cable and wireline segments including internal teams and sales development. Work closely with Sales Operations and Compensation teams to develop and maintain competitive compensation plans. Allocate budgeted sales targets and forecast headcount monthly.
