Job Title: Software Developer

Job Type: Direct/Permanent Hire

Location: Madison, WI (Onsite Required)

Salary: $90-120K DOE

Robert Half is working with a dynamic company in the Madison, WI area that values innovation, teamwork and integrity. They're committed to delivering high-quality software applications to their customers/clients. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated software developer to join their rapidly growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a team environment to design, develop, and support software systems using C#, .Net 5+, JavaScript (React or Angular), SQL, and Azure Services.

• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs.

• Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes.

• Write high quality, maintainable, and efficient code in line with modern best practices.

• Implement changes, enhancements, and fixes to existing systems, including performance tuning and debugging.

• Communicate regularly with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide status updates, and solicit feedback.

• Write detailed technical documentation as needed.

• Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

  Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a software developer, software engineer or similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of C#, .Net 5+, SQL and JavaScript.

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular is a must.

• Extensive experience with Azure Services.

• Proficiency in code versioning tools like GIT.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision, both independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or similar field.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or similar certification.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
