JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION PURPOSE Our Senior Payroll Analyst ensures each payroll run is accurately compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. As a support function to the Payroll Manager, the role is essential in guaranteeing that employees are paid correctly and on time and that the payroll function is efficient. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supports the payroll team for all activities involved in the payroll cycle, including gathering and reconciling timekeeping data, processing employee payroll changes in UKG Kronos, reviewing and auditing periodic payroll reports, and processing payroll in ADP. Partners with Accounting, Finance, and the Payroll Manager to ensure continual tax compliance with periodic, quarterly, and annual tax filings by resolving any exceptions with the ADP tax-filing service. Performs audits of timekeeping data to ensure adherence to pay rules and other specific federal and state compliance requirements. Provides support regularly for requests from employees in a professional and confidential manner. Audits/reviews integrations between timekeeping and payroll systems to ensure data integrity. Assists with the delivery and communication to union and non-union employees regarding new payroll processes. Gathers and distributes payroll data as required for internal and external payroll audits. Creates and runs various payroll reports in UKG Kronos/ADP for distribution to the HR team. Assists the Payroll Manager in evaluating current payroll processes and implementing improvements. Handles other projects as assigned by the Payroll Manager for development. Assists with all activities related to quarter-end and year-end processing. QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Minimum five years\' experience in payroll processing for mid- to large-size companies or equivalent accounting and finance experience. Associate\'s degree preferred in Business, Accounting, or related field. Knowledge and Skills Current knowledge of Wisconsin taxes and labor laws. Analytical thinker and team player. Able to multitask. Experience with ADP, UKG Kronos, or similar applications. Able to troubleshoot and work on more complex issues and projects. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
