JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for engaging with business subject matter experts and process owners to understand business issues and elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements for large and/or complex automation projects. Develops consistent, complete, correct, and operationally defined functional and non-functional requirements that are used by I/S project managers, architects, designers, developers, and testers to deliver the business solution. Works with the business, developers, and other team members to resolve inconsistencies and inadequacies in requirements. Stays connected to the project for the entire software development lifecycle in order to manage the verification and fulfillment of all requirements. Applies business analysis best practices and methodologies and leads efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business analysis center of excellence. The position requires a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or a related field with 5 years\' experience. Additionally, position requires 5 years\' experience with business analysis, system analysis, and requirements gathering; 5 years\' experience with business modeling tools including Microsoft Visio; 3 years of experience performing business analysis in support of insurance processes or solutions; 3 years\' experience with quality assurance including experience in test case creation for functional and User Acceptance testing; and 1 year experience with projects using Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or a related field with 2 years\' experience. Additionally, position requires 2 years\' experience with business analysis, system analysis, and requirements gathering; 2 years\' experience with business modeling tools including Microsoft Visio; 2 years of experience performing business analysis in support of insurance processes or solutions; 2 years\' experience with quality assurance including experience in test case creation for functional and User Acceptance testing; and 2 years of experience with projects using Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
