This position would be based in our Madison, WI office. This group is responsible for the design of state and county engineering projects for highways and local roads. The chosen candidate will work up to 40 hours per week during the summer. Beyond the internship, we are also open to someone working part-time hours during the school year. Looking towards the future? This position has the potential for full-time employment upon graduation from a respective accredited Civil Engineering program. Responsibilities: Assist design teams with the development of plans, reports, and studies for roadway and highway projects. Assist in the preparation of project cost estimates. Additional duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Current enrollment in a university\'s civil engineering undergraduate program (sophomore, junior, or senior level). Seeking someone who is collaborative, dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, organized, and possesses strong communication skills as well as an ability to self-start. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Bentley 3D design tools; BIM tool experience for infrastructure preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
