JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The School of Human Ecology (SoHE) is seeking to fill two Program Specialist positions. Both roles will be part of the Coordinators of Academic Programs (CAPS) Office. The CAPS team is a highly functioning and collaborative team of professionals responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient academic program operations. Both Program Specialist positions collaborate on a regular basis with other administrative units in SoHE. The Academic Program Specialist is responsible for a variety of academic program support services, including meeting and event management, academic department purchasing, as well as faculty affairs and graduate program process coordination. This position works both independently and as part of a team to manage multiple priorities to meet the needs of our academic programs. The Academic Program Specialist will report to the Administrative Manager for Academic Programs. The Graduate Program Specialist is responsible for supporting graduate program functions such as current student and faculty events, scholarships and funding, and communications to various audiences and stakeholders. This position works both independently and as part of a team to manage multiple priorities to meet the needs of our graduate programs. The Graduate Program Specialist will report to the Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs. Responsibilities: Contributes to the development, implementation, administration, coordination, and evaluation for one or more academic programs to ensure effectiveness in meeting departmental and student development goals and initiatives.
