Position Overview The Operational Excellence Finance Director is responsible for driving financial performance and operational efficiency and ensuring the Operational Excellence Office (OEO) drives cash impact for approved business cases, highlighting financial trends that could hinder or accelerate financial impact and communicating the financial impact of the transformation to SR leadership. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to optimize financial processes, improve cost management, and enhance overall financial performance for initiatives tracked by the OEO. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure the successful execution of financial projects that support the organization\'s operational excellence goals. Essential Duties Include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company\'s operational excellence objectives. Works with OEO leadership to translate aspirations into clear targets. Identify key financial performance indicators and set targets to drive financial efficiency. This includes supporting the executive team in setting overall OEO targets and overseeing appropriate resource allocation. Provides CEO staff adequate information and guidance to support their decision-making. Performs trend analysis to forecast future monthly impacts and compare against monthly financial goals. Highlights developing financial trends that could hinder or accelerate financial impact within operational excellence initiatives. Makes recommendations to resolve emerging issues or take advantage of positive trends and anticipates and recommends solutions for financial issues that arise. Establish and monitor financial performance metrics and KPIs. Tracks and validates initiative business cases and coordinates overall allocation of resources.
