Position Overview The Manufacturing Sciences Engineering Intern will assist in a variety of product support, development, and improvement activities within Operations for on-market products and pipeline products. The position is intended to be an opportunity for an engineering or science undergraduate to obtain hands-on industry experience in experiment design, execution, analysis, and reporting through presentation and technical writing while contributing to the overall expansion efforts within Operations. This is an onsite internship in Madison, WI during Summer 2025. Essential Duties include but are not limited to the following: Assist in developing processes and procedures consistent with medical device quality regulations. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to perform investigative testing and analysis. Clearly and accurately generate experimental protocols and summarize activities through technical summary or investigative reports. Work collaboratively with Production, R&D, Quality Engineering, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional areas, as necessary. Ability to coordinate and communicate tasks and timelines with minimal supervision. Complete and maintain test documentation per GMP standards. Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork. Support and comply with the company\'s Quality Management System policies and procedures. Regular and reliable attendance. Ability to work designated schedule. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for approximately 10% of a typical working day. Ability to work seated for approximately 90% of a typical working day. Ability to work standing for approximately 50% of a typical working day. Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
