JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: Educational Psychology Department is seeking a candidate to teach one undergraduate level Educational Psychology courses in Fall 2024 in the Human Development Area. These courses are part of the program offerings in the Department of Educational Psychology in the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Under the direction of the Department Chair: 1. Teach assigned course (s) as specified in the lecturer agreement. 2. Evaluate and select instructional materials, prepare course materials 3. Provide students an approved syllabus using the UW-Madison syllabus template that includes all the necessary components of a well-developed syllabus 4. Use the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) to post syllabus, assignments, other materials, and communicate with students 5. Deliver the course content using different strategies to engage students in high quality online instruction 6. Observe and provide timely feedback to students their progress in meeting course outcomes/learning objectives 7. Be available for student consultation through office hours and/or schedule appointments. 8. Maintain records of attendance, assessment and grades, submit final grades. 9. Encourage students to submit course evaluations, review course evaluations when available and use feedback to make course improvements. Responsibilities: Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction and assists with instructional development and design for a single course or series of courses within an academic discipline to support the delivery of quality instruction. Provides for-credit instruction in formats such as classroom, online and/or laboratory settings, including grading.
