Description

We are offering a contract for a Java Developer. This position is based in Wisconsin and provides the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team. As a Java Developer, you will be expected to understand business cases and translate them back to non-technical staff, in addition to working with customers and internal staff. This is an onsite role in Madison, WI.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Java, Web Sphere, OpenShift, Apache Kafka, and Spring MVC to develop and maintain software applications

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand business cases and translate these for non-technical stakeholders

• Communicate effectively with both customers and internal staff

• Contribute to the planning and execution of major projects

• Use your skills in Java, WebSphere, Spring, and OpenShift platforms to contribute to the team and projects

• Address and resolve any issues related to software development

• Monitor and maintain software to ensure optimal performance

• Take appropriate action as needed to ensure customer satisfaction

• Seamlessly integrate new software with existing systems

• Ensure that all software is up-to-date and functioning correctly.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Java Developer role or related position within the Financial Services industry.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Java programming language is a must.

• Practical experience with Web Sphere is required.

• Familiarity with OpenShift is essential.

• Must have experience working with Apache Kafka.

• Proficiency in Spring MVC is necessary. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
