Role Snapshot
As our Human Resource Analyst, you will play a key role in our mission to attract, engage, and retain top talent. We are seeking an analytical professional who seeks to understand the impact HR has in our business, support its needs, deliver solutions, and execute efficiently/effectively. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help with the evolution of our WPS HR areas this includes supporting compliance roadmaps protocols and practices (OFCCP, EEOC, AAP, etc.), HR practice analysis, supporting compensation (population data, attrition, headcount), benefits analysis, big picture long-term analysis, and HR data analysis.
Salary Range
$60,000 - $85,000
The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may fall outside the posted range.
Work LocationThis role will require work out of our Madison, WI headquarters; first consideration will be individuals located near Madison Wisconsin to take advantage of Hybrid collaboration. We will consider individuals in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Minnesota. Our office location: WPS Corporate Center Building - 1717 W. Broadway in Madison, WI.HR Analysis:
Analyzes data to develop insights summarizing historical trends and potential outcomes to aid leaders with business decisions.
Analyzes costs related to current benefits programs.
Participates in the review and analysis of new benefits programs.
Maintains the market analysis system.
Refreshes employee and job data quarterly.
Assists with job matching, job weighting, and reporting.
Completes annual salary survey submissions.
Partners to research and respond to internal and external audit requests.
Supports the recruiting team and hiring managers with internal equity analyses and the structuring of offers.
Updates and maintains HR Power BI reports.
Collaborates with other HR teams on an as-needed basis.
HR Architecture:
Assists in developing and maintaining the benefit grouping and job classification systems, along with resources documenting appropriate salary ranges and leveling grids.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience.
1 or more years of HR-specific data analysis supporting an HR function.
Strong technical acumen with technologies such as: MS suite, Access, Excel and Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of HR program analysis work experience.
Experience with diverse HR topics such as compliance, benefits, recruiting, compensation, HRIS.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as be part of a team.
