Role Snapshot:
Our team is seeking a highly capable Health Plan Performance Manager who is looking to develop their finance and analysis skills and lead a small team within a challenging yet exciting and supportive atmosphere. You will partner with Health Plan leaders across the business to set targets and understand its results. We directly support the Health Plan business in identifying and evaluating growth opportunities and driving efficiency, whether it’s planning for next year’s budget, working with our leadership team on growth initiatives, or developing cost-saving strategies.

Salary Range $115,000 $125,000
The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and may fall outside of this range. In this role you will:
Support Health Plan budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities in partnership with the Enterprise Strategy and Corporate FP&A teams.
Lead Health Plan performance reporting and analysis, including analyzing financial information and operational metrics.
Lead the creations of ad-hoc analysis and financial modeling that support executive decision making.
Manage cross functional projects with the ability to set and drive timelines and provide high-quality, clear, concise, and supported deliverables.
Partner with leaders of increasing seniority, including Executive leaders, to manage and improve the performance of the health plan business.
Develop and maintain Health Plan staffing models and provide insights on staff performance.
Lead efforts to improve the analytical capabilities of the team and maximize process efficiency.
Effectively manage employee performance to create and/or maintain a high-performing team.

You need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in in Finance, Accounting, or similar field and/or related work experience.
3 or more years of leadership experience in accounting or finance arenas.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
We also prefer:
5 or more years of related experience in accounting or finance.
Master’s degree in in Finance, Accounting, or similar field.
Experience working in Health Plan OR Health Insurance environments.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience managing a team of analysts.
Superb problem-solving ability and strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of BI/forecasting tools such as: Cognos, Power BI, Adaptive Insights.
