Job Summary:

Manages all administrative functions and support for the Foundation Board President and Members, including on-going communication and coordination with Foundation leadership regarding board business.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages all administrative functions for Foundation Board of Directors and all Board Committees, including managing/facilitating tasks associated with Board objectives. Maintains confidentiality at all times.

  • Maintains corporate records, including minutes, policies, bylaws, budgets, audits, and reports.

  • Prepares agendas for meetings of Board of Directors and Committees, coordinates with Foundation team members to ensure seamless support.

  • Prepares minutes from meetings of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for signature of the Secretary of the Board. Schedules meetings with donors and/or other key stakeholders as needed.

  • Compiles and disseminates monthly, quarterly and annual Foundation Board reports as needed.

  • Reviews all incoming correspondence for the Foundation Board President and all other Board Members, highlighting those items needing immediate attention and handling as appropriate. Assures timely and accurate response.

  • Handles on-going communication and frequent contact with officers, Board Members, and all levels of staff within the organization.

  • Coordinates orientation for new Board Members, coordinates training, committees, programs, and related events for all Board Members in collaboration with other Foundation team members.

  • Attends all Foundation Board and Committee meetings, providing logistic and refreshment support as appropriate.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and education.

EXPERIENCE

  • Three years’ Experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

  • Rare climbing.
