Software Development Engineer III - Deployment
Location : Bothell, WA - remote

Position Summary:
We are searching for a talented Software Deployment Engineer to continue to design, implement, and advance the deployment apparatus for a novel server environment. You’ll work on and with our team of software engineers to propose, develop, and optimize configurations for a variety of deployment environments.
Strong software engineering skills will be used to architect and implement deployment tools for a new server offering. In this work you will lead development and maintenance of deployment systems, monitors, and metrics. We’ll use your attention to detail and understanding of objective measurements and baseline comparisons to provide systematized project health checks.
Responsibilities:
Working in the client environment requires a lot of communication and collaboration with people outside of the team so non-technical skills are nearly as important as technical.
Communicating to the team and others around the company regarding requirements and the mechanisms of deployment
Tenacity to seek out people and solutions outside the status quo and interact with people at all levels throughout the company.
Motivated for both quantity of work output and quality of that work
Interested in work on technical tasks, documenting it and mentoring/cross-training others
The successful candidate will be working in AWS, GitHub actions, bash scripts, helm, Kubernetes, and other related tools
Must haves:
Strong Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform experience as an author, not just a consumer
Experience with Linux CLI, Bash, and/or other scripting
On-prem and cloud deployment background
Experience with GitHub actions or equivalent CI framework
5 years related experience or commensurate education and experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
Willing to travel up to 25%
Nice to have:
8 years proven experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
Relevant master’s degree and 5 years of proven experience
C#(dotnet) background
Education or experience in biology

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Washington is $95,900.00–$143,825.00.
