Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Madison, Wisconsin

Description

We are offering a contract opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Madison, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will join our clients' team team, providing essential support to our IT operations. The role involves delivering effective technical support, maintaining our desktop infrastructure, and ensuring efficient operations within our Microsoft-centric environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality support for desktop-related inquiries, incidents, and service requests.

• Play a key role in enhancing our desktop infrastructure through automation of processes.

• Perform imaging and configuration of PCs for new hires and replacements.

• Manage user profiles, ensuring seamless onboarding and access to necessary resources.

• Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.

• Utilize ticketing software to track and manage user requests and incidents.

• Offer hands-on support for diagnosing and resolving hardware-related problems.

• Ensure optimal functionality and user experience with banking-specific software applications.

• Document solutions, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to create a knowledge base for future reference.

• Provide support across multiple office locations, contributing to an efficient IT environment.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar.

• Proven expertise in desktop administration, deployment, and imaging.

• In-depth knowledge of desktop hardware, operating systems, and environment.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites and Windows OS is essential.

• Experience with Microsoft SCCM is required.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve desktop-related issues promptly.

• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and other stakeholders.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Must be a team player with a strong commitment to collaborative work.
