Job Title: Data Analyst

Job Type: Direct/Permanent Hire

Location: Madison, WI (Onsite Required)

Salary: $90-110k DOE

Description:

Robert Half is in search of a Data Reporting Analyst to join our client's team in Madison, Wisconsin. This role focuses on the analysis and reporting of data, using tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Python to create dashboards and handle data warehousing tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive data analysis and create reports to aid business decision-making

• Develop and maintain Reporting Dashboards to visualize data and provide insights

• Utilize Power BI and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes

• Implement data warehousing techniques to store, access, and retrieve data efficiently

• Apply knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing (BI DW) to enhance data-driven strategies

• Use Python for various data manipulation and analysis tasks

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by maintaining data systems and following data governance guidelines

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver appropriate solutions

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data analysis and reporting tools.

Requirements • Demonstrable proficiency in Data Analysis and Data Reporting

• Proficient in using Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports

• Strong SQL skills for querying and managing databases

• Experience in designing and maintaining Reporting Dashboards

• Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts and best practices

• Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing (BI DW)

• Ability to perform ETL - Extract Transform Load operations

• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Proactive in identifying issues and presenting solutions
