ENERGY SERVICES INC Customer Care Representative in MADISON, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Energy Services is seeking qualified applicants for a Customer Care Representative position for our office in Fitchburg, WI. This position is full time and will serve all communities within the state. Must have a passion and outgoing personality for working with limited and low income households, excellent customer service, math and computer skills. This is a rewarding position assisting and processing applications with the clients over the phone to establish the eligibility for energy assistance, collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders within the community, specifically veterans, disabled, elderly and families with young children. Experience working in a non-profit setting with limited income families, elderly and veterans a plus. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:00 with the additional hour on Tuesday and Thursdays. DUTIES: Answering incoming calls. Scheduling appointments. Responds to general questions, providing eligibility requirements. Refers clients to the appropriate caseworker and/or office location as necessary. Process on-demand and on-line applications. Other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or designee. Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers\' problems. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Reliable transportation to report to work. Ability to provide excellent customer service and multi-task in a fast paced environment. Willingness and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Experience in keeping records, making oral and written reports. Ability to perform routine clerical work.
