JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB ID: 20732 MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The UW System Administration (UWSA), UW-Managed design & construction program, is seeking a part-time, university staff project position. Under the general supervision of the Design and Construction Project Delivery Director in Capital Planning & Budget, this position will assist the UW-Managed program by preparing legal documents or reviewing prepared legal documents to prevent or minimize impact of legal risks to the UW. This position will perform the following activities: Prepare legal documents including contracts, contract changes, and exhibits. Review contract related documents prepared by others (typically prepared by architects/engineers and contractors). Meet with UW staff and external parties (consultants or contractors) to discuss contract related documents. Organize and maintain project files and track information. This position is a part-time (non-exempt) university staff project position. It is anticipated that the incumbent will work 10 to 19 hours per week. This position has an anticipated during of one year, with a possibility of an extension. WORK LOCATION: The office location is 780 Regent Street, Madison, WI 53715.
