JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Office of Informatics and Information Technology is seeking an outstanding DevOps Engineer to contribute to its growing Azure Platform and support its infrastructure growth. This position will report to the Cloud Infrastructure Manager. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the deployment, modification, and configuration of existing open-source software tools to improve access to data. The DevOps Engineer will also be accountable for introducing processes, tools, and methodologies that support the needs of the software development lifecycle, from coding and deployment to maintenance and updates. The incumbent will demonstrate their experience as a seasoned DevOps Engineer by implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery of pipelines through various tools such as Terraform and Ansible. As a key member of the integrated application development team, the role of the DevOps Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting issues that arise, configuring logging & alerting mechanisms, and engineering solutions for complex infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have a solid work ethic and bring an enthusiastic and professional attitude to the workplace. This position is funded by the UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research and the Clinical and Translational Science Award and contributes to the informatics of the project.
