JOB REQUIREMENTS: Cardiovascular Technologist - 30842 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 90-100% FTE, day shift. Monday through Friday. Operational hours from 6:30AM - 7:00PM (8, 10, 12 hour shifts) with night/weekend on-call requirements (30 minute call response time). Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) / Cath Lab Tech to: * Practice in a growing technologically advanced and dynamic interventional procedural area. * Be an integral member of our highly collaborative multidisciplinary team. * Assist with scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring invasive cardiovascular procedures. * Receive opportunities to cross-train to our growing Pediatric and Adult Congenital Invasive Cardiology Program. One year of Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) or Interventional Radiology experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement. Preferred - Graduate of a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CVIS) Technologist training program. Work Experience : Preferred - Two years of Cardiovascular Technologist work experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - * If an Imaging Technician, then registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT). * Basic Life Support/CPR Certification * ACLS certification within 6 months of hire date Preferred - RCIS.
