Position Purpose: Plans, conceptualizes, configures, and builds solutions that solve common claims configuration challenges within the business by using data analyst technological tools or programs. Conducts research and requirement gathering to determine customer needs for claims configuration and implementation and drive strategy and oversee the development process from an operational perspective. Acts as a subject matter expert providing advice, support and guidance as needed and serves as a mentor to colleagues. Must have the ability to be self-sufficient.

• Meet with health plans to assist in implementing new claims configuration systems

• Utilize data analyst techniques to look for trends, make recommendations and improvements, research errors and create dashboar

• Writes code for software programs and applications, working with classes, using inheritance and virtualization, and following best programming practices.

• Performs complex research and advanced analysis; find/create best solutions to stakeholder requests or problems; identify the best method or tool to develop solutions.

• Collaborates with and mentor peers on development and solution strategy; regular code reviews and pull requests; team partnership to identify efficient and effective scalable product solutions.

• Leads and facilitate meetings to conduct requirements gathering; maintain communication with stakeholders during solution development.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Completion of a technical training program (e.g., LaunchCode, FDM, etc.) may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Healthcare experience a plus.

One or more of the following skills desired:

• SQL

• Power BI

• Claims Configuration experience

• Data Analyst experience

Pay Range: $84,300.00 - $151,700.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
