JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The School of Medicine and Public Health\'s (SMPH) Office of Informatics and Information Technology is excited to be adding a new Academic Application Administrator to our Education & Training Technology team! This position will primarily focus on the implementation and support of a new application designed to facilitate scheduling, curriculum mapping, learner assessments and the data and analytics from a variety of academic technologies for our Academic Affairs units starting with our Medical Education program. The Education & Training Technology team provides consultation and support to a variety of academic technologies and applications to the programs within Academic Affairs programs to include: Medical Education, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, Public Health and Genetic Counseling. Ideal candidates will have a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, an ability to work independently and part of a team, be highly organized to ensure deadlines are met and show excitement for establishing a new application here at the school! The Academic Application Administrator will report to the Director of Education & Training Technology under the division of Informatics and Information Technology. This project position has the potential to turn into a renewable position. Responsibilities: Recommends, designs, troubleshoots, and maintains applications to support the business operations of the institution 5% Troubleshoots hardware, software, and system problems 5% Coordinates system-wide updates and installs upgrades and patches 10% Recommends application enhancements or changes that may involve custom design, optional, and third party products 15% Creates and updates access permissions and maintains user accounts to maintain application security through user profile management 20% Monitors and maintains performance metrics for application features and recommends and takes corrective/preventive actions 25% Participates in the design, development, and implementation of test and production objects.
