Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Will be responsible to the Program Manager for the functional execution and controlling cost of the contract, while meeting Material Demand requirements, and meeting Key performance Indicators of the contract and the company.

Acts as a customer contact for assigned program activities and delegated program reporting responsibilities. Directs program managers and mid-level functional managers to meet contract requirements and milestones. Identifies program challenges, accomplishments, and opportunities, such as production, training, and identifying implementing and monitoring program cost initiatives. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program as outlined by the Program Manager.

Assist the Program with:

Perform as a program manager in their absence.

Management execution of aircraft COMBS contract.

Daily oversight of operations to include management of employees and company resources.

Responsible to the Program Manager for coordinating support from all functional areas (Contracts, Business Management, Finance, Quality Assurance, Standardization, Engineering, IT, Supply, Procurement, and other support staff agencies.)

Responsible for managing and maintaining budgets.

Lead teams composed of multi-disciplined personnel to ensure the realization of program objectives.

Participate in the negotiation of contracts/changes, coordinate preparation of proposals, statements of work, requests for proposals, and proposal evaluation.

Communicate program status, issues, risks, opportunities, and plans to the program manager and executive management.

Must be available for travel as required.

Professional Requirements, Qualifications & Desired Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of team development/management OR associate’s degree plus 3 years of team development/management, OR High school diploma plus 2 years of aviation logistics management 3 years of team development/management

Possess knowledge of US Government acquisition practices to include understanding of Firm Fixed Price and Cost-Plus contracts preferred.

Must have demonstrated leadership and people management and development skills.

Possess strong oral, written, and presentation communication styles and skills.

Possess strong customer relationship skills.

Strengths in MS Office Suite to include MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
