Parker Hannifin Corporation Machine Set-Up/Operate - 1st Shift 47944 in Madison, Mississippi
This is a job for a Machine Set-Up/Operate - 1st Shift position with a company located in the Madison, MS area.
Position Summary: Assure that all machines within assigned manufacturing cell are properly set up to perform enquired operations involving all levels of complexity/difficulty.Operate machines as required, and instruct, assist and participate in the work of assigned team.
Essential Functions: Operate CNC machines, lathes machines, milling machines, boring machines, and tool grinding equipment. Write and execute programs for CNC machines. Determine work procedures from drawings, sketches, schedules, and blueprints. Repair and make parts. Refine design fixtures. Assist in prototype development. Assure that all parts produced meet Engineering requirements by measuring, inspecting, using SPC and making adjustments, seeking assistance for variables beyond own control. Follow SOP required within work cell. Understand ISO procedures and know where appropriate documentation is kept.
Qualifications: 3 - 5 years experience. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as complex gauges and micrometers. Ability to use complex shop math, work from Engineering drawings, specifications, charts and tables. Ability to read, write, and speak English in order to interpret written materials and maintain appropriate records. Lifting up to 35 lbs.
