Robert Half Social Media Coordinator in Madison Heights, Michigan

Description

We are on the lookout for a Social Media Coordinator to support our client in the nonprofit financial industry, based in Madison Heights, Michigan. This role is centered around developing, implementing, and monitoring social media strategy. The person in this position will be instrumental in increasing social media presence and gaining visibility across social platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. This role would be ideal for a candidate with high financial literacy and a passion for financial investing, trading, and stocks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement social media strategy and content focused on financial investing, trading, and stock education.

• Generate and publish engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)

• Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews

• Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout)

• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions

• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications

• Understand the investment space, personal finance, financial literacy, and day-trading to create content that resonates with our audience

• Use tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and Database to create visually appealing content

• Use analytics tools such as Facebook Insights, Google+, and Linkedin Ads to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance

Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role or field

• Proven proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva is essential

• Must demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and Linkedin Ads

• Experience and understanding of financial literacy, investing, day-trading, and stocks is required.

• Familiarity with Facebook Insights and Google+ will be advantageous

• Proficiency in creating and managing social media advertisements is required

• Must possess strong analytical skills to measure and interpret social media metrics

• Prior experience in blogging is highly desirable

• Must have a strong understanding of brand awareness strategies

• Experience creating content like Reels and Tiktok videos is required.

Ability to work onsite in office as needed is preferred, but this will be a remote flexible role.
