STI Electronics, Inc. Analytical Lab Technician in Madison, Alabama
Job Summary:
Perform analytical testing, analysis and microsection preparation on circuit boards and electronic components according to Analytical Lab Managers instruction and customers specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform all required analytical steps to meet customers objective as directed by lab manager
Responsible for preparation of micro-sections and other samples
Responsible for purchasing materials needed for the analytical lab
Responsible for lab equipment maintenance
Operate X-Ray machine
Operation of XRF and reports associated with tasks
Occasional communication with customers
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Transmission X-Ray evaluation
Micro-sectional analysis
Dye and Pry testing
Ability to communicate with customers
Computer skills to include MS Office
Ability to understand and review technical documentation
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to analyze analytical problems and execute effective solution
Ability to operate analytical equipment and interpret data
