Job SummaryAs an Human Resources Intern, you will play a crucial role in the administration of Human Resources Department. This role will require attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and organizational skills, Additionally, you will have the chance to contribute to the coordination of company events and gain exposure to different facets of HR management.Duties/ResponsibilitiesHelp organize and coordinate employee training and development programs.Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.Provides clerical support to the HR department.Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.Performs other duties as assigned.Who We Are Looking ForProficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPointExcellent communications skills: verbal, written, listeningAbility to build relationships with & service the customer (internal)Ability to manage multiple tasksAbility to work efficiently individually, as well as in a teamStrong attention to detailMaintain confidentiality and integrityAbility to work under pressureWork EnvironmentOffice setting as well as manufacturing facilityProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.EducationCurrently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Additional InformationPursuant to International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), applicants for SELECT positions will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residence, or U.S. Immigration Status in order to meet the minimum qualifications for those select positions.
