DESCRIPTION

Diesel Mechanic - Workshop - Mackay

· Competitive hourly rate & overtime + bonus + super

· Early daily shift (7:30am to 3:36pm)

· Modern well-equipped facility

We have an opportunity for a talented Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team specialising in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance across on-highway, construction, mining, and agriculture customers based at our Mackay branch.

*In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: *

· Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products

· Diagnose and repair various engines

· Engine rebuilding and reconditioning

*To be successful in this role you will need the following: *

· Australian recognised Trade certificate (heavy or light vehicle)

· Previous repairs and maintenance experience with On Highway Truck, Mining, Construction or Agriculture applications is desirable but not essential

· Kenworth, Western Star, Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr experience highly desirable

Compensation and Benefits

· Competitive above award hourly rate paid as a permanent salary

· Overtime penalties for all work above standard Monday – Friday 38-hour work week

· $5,000 sign on bonus (Conditions apply)
