Aerotek is Hiring for an Entry Level Welder!!

Job Description

We are seeking an entry level welder who can perform MIG welding and multitask between welding and other areas of our fabrication department. You will work from engineering drawings and Bill of Materials to fabricate and weld components. You must be able to adjust the welder to accommodate varying thicknesses of steel and operate a variety of tools and machinery, including welders, grinders, drills, hand/power tools, and measuring devices. Operating an overhead crane and forklift is required if certified. The position involves working in either the Panel Welding department, which requires basic straight-line welding, or the Tank Welding department, which involves vertical, horizontal, and overhead welding.

Requirements

• Welding Certification from a school / institution OR on-the-job welding experience

• Able to work 10+ hours of overtime per week

• Eager to grow and work!

Work Environment

Work in the summer with doors open. A clean environment with all necessary tools provided.

1st Shift: 5 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday), 5 am - 10 am on Saturday

3rd Shift: 6 pm - 4:30 am (Sunday - Thursday) with a 15% shift premium
