Job Title: Diamond Turning Machine Operator / Metrology Technician

Job Description

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Diamond Turning Machine Operators and Metrology Technicians. You will have the opportunity to work in a clean room lab environment on 2nd shift (3pm - 11:30pm) with a competitive pay rate of $19-$22/hr.

Hard Skills

• Perform setups on diamond turning CNC machines

• Align machine parts

• Run and inspect parts repeatedly

• Load and unload machine parts

• Follow detailed work instructions

• Perform detailed documentation in SharePoint

• Utilize calipers, micrometers, and gauges for measurement

• Calculate math for conversions of fractions to decimals

• Perform measurements of optical lenses

• Use measurement tools

• Operate CMM machine

• Utilize cloud platform and Microsoft Excel

• Perform tests on various products

Soft Skills

• High attention to detail

• Computer skills / data entry

• Mechanical aptitude

Work Environment

You will be working in a clean room lab environment with only 3 other employees in the department. The temperature remains a constant 68 degrees but can feel cold due to the constant airflow. The area is very well lit for quality inspection. Comfortable attire is allowed, and you can wear sweatshirts and listen to music. No steel toe boots are required.
