Job Description:

GDIT is looking for Network Operations ASI Coordinator supporting the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate must be a team player, be willing to work outside of normal business hours (Nights/Weekends) in a 24/7 365-day Network Operations Center (NOC).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall management of intra/inter theater Authorized Services interruptions throughout the Area of Operations

  • Prioritizing and managing ASI Requests as appropriate

  • Processing, de-conflicting, and tracking component ASI requests

  • Provide impact assessments on network systems due to requested ASI

  • Deliver resolution to components with conflicting resources and requirements as pertaining to ASIs

  • Gather accurate information regarding outages, security calls that affect enterprise-wide services, and maintenance on USCENTCOM systems

  • Completing trouble tickets using USCENTCOM approved systems and providing reports for situational awareness

Education and/or Certifications:

Required:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience and BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.

  • COMPTIA Security+ CE Certification

Desired:

  • Master’s Degree with a focus in communication, computer science, engineering, or a related field of study

  • ITIL V4 Certification

Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products like Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and MS Project

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and customers.

  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills in making the appropriate technical decisions.

  • Must be motivated, adaptable, flexible, and able to produce quality results in an evolving, fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with USCENTCOM and familiarity with its mission

  • Knowledge and familiarity with USCENTCOM’s IT environment

Clearance Requirement:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required

Work location/Work hours and travel Requirements:

- Work location is MacDill AFB, Tampa FL.

  • Must be willing to work outside of normal business hours (Nights/Weekends) in a 24/7 365-day Network Operations Center (NOC).

  • Required USCENTCOM Exercise support of up to 10% Travel during the Year to OCONUS Locations

The likely salary range for this position is $63,750 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
