Job title – Pillar II Tax manager (70685)

Location – Maastricht, Netherlands

Job model – Hybrid

As of 2024 Pillar II (the global minimum tax of 15%) is introduced in many countries. dsm-firmenich needs to comply with these new complex rules even if the Pillar II effective tax rate is above 15%. Pillar II constitutes a major change in the international tax environment and is therefore high on the agenda at dsm-firmenich. An expert team is being set-up to continuously assess and monitor the Pillar II implications and developments. The Pillar II Tax Manager will be part of this team and will play an instrumental role in the further design and implementation of the Pillar II processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Advice on Pillar II impact of business changes and M&A activities;

• Design and implement processes regarding local Pillar II compliance;

• Prepare and coordinate filing of Pillar II returns;

• Perform safe harbour testing;

• Calculate Pillar II effective tax rate;

• Train stakeholders on Pillar II.

You Bring

• Relevant degree in tax or accounting;

• At least 5 yrs experience in tax, accounting and/or IAS12 at a large multinational or big consultancy firm with affinity for both tax and accounting;

• Knowledge of Pillar II is considered to be a strong plus;

• Analytical and numerical strong;

• Keen to train others on Pillar II;

• Strong communication skills and able to explain complex matters clearly to stakeholders.
