We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Technical Lead Architect to strengthen our Systems Engineering Team and help to further improve our position in the area of Clinical Laboratory Automation Systems. As a Technical Lead & System Architect, you are the glue, bridge and center player to realize products that satisfy customer needs and wishes. You develop and manage System Architecture, define complex System Level Workflows and analyze System behavior. You are in close contact to Product Management and Customers to understand needs and workflows. Additionally, you are supporting the development teams to derive lower level Requirements and Architecture.
Align target specification for new products (targets for specific projects) with Product Management.
Define technical solutions on System Level.
Define System Architecture in terms of main building blocks across projects.
Assign responsibilities to main building blocks and interaction between them.
Develop and align sophisticated automated workflows in the laboratory environment.
Ensure implementation follows design concept of the product.
Give guidance for System Test concept.
Review Design Output of Feature implementation
Degree in Information Technology or similar education.
Excellent understanding in Software Engineering.
Several years of experience in Architecture of large complex systems, including Feature and Infrastructure Architecture as well as Architectural Models like service-based Architectures/Microservices, Layered Architectures, Real Time Architectures.
Ability to solve complex problems and interdisciplinary thinking.
Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills, good organizational skills, acting pro-active, self-reliant.
Proficient written and verbal English communication skills; German is a plus
Preferred but not required:
Good understanding of Laboratory Workflows (Hospital and/or Private Labs)
Some years of experience working in medical device development, familiarized with standards such as ISO13485 and IEC62304
