Description

We are actively seeking an Accounting Clerk based in Lynwood, California. The primary function of this role is to manage and maintain financial records, including the processing of invoices and the reconciliation of accounts. This role will require strong skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Adobe Illustrator.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Sales Director and Sales Manager in their day-to-day functions

• Handle and manage communications, including the creation and distribution of product offers and essential information to the sales team

• Facilitate interdepartmental communication and task coordination to support sales activities

• Prepare detailed reports and materials for sales meetings and presentations

• Coordinate the order process with customers and oversee logistics to ensure smooth operations

• Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional support for issues related to purchase orders and Accounts Receivable

• Maintain and reconcile Accounts Receivable ensuring accuracy and timeliness in billing and collections

• Participate in meetings, capture notes, synthesize & prepare information, and ensure follow up between customers & vendors

• Routinely perform a wide variety of sales support duties

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Billing processes

• Capable of performing Data Entry tasks efficiently

• Familiarity with Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle software

• Knowledge of QuickBooks software

• Familiarity with SAP software

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator

• Previous experience in an Accounting Clerk role or similar

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting field

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
