Littau Harvester has immediate job openings for a Small Engine Technician / Parts Counter Person for Cub Cadet side of Littau Harvester. Position is responsible to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair Cub Cadet machinery. Responsible for maintaining parts to include ordering and inventory.  The Small Engine Technician / Parts Counter Person will also follow all guidelines in accordance with Littau Harvester and company standards and Cub Cadet protocol.

$20 - $27 Hourly, depending on experience

Requirements:   2 + years of experience repairing lawn and garden machinery (log splitters, chain saws, leaf blowers, pressure washers, weed trimmers, 4x4's, side by sides, and small tractors)

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under our company insurance policy

Abilities / Skills / Knowledge:

Knowledge of:

Familiarity with line of Cub Cadet products and website -- www.cubcadet.com

Blade Sharpening for chain saws and mowers

Provide full maintenance for various Cub Cadet models

Pick-up and delivery of customer equipment

Ability to perform oil changes, filter changes, and repair hydraulic pumps & hoses.

Understanding of hose crimping and hydraulic fittings

Experienced welding and fabrication skills with stick and MIG in stainless and carbon steel (preferred)

Ability to do consistent physical activity - Reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and ability to life objects over 50 lbs. 

Able to understand instructions - written and verbal

Must have the ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders

Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment Other tasks as assigned.
