Amazon Workplace Health and Safety Change Manager, EU WHS Change Management in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth, and we're seeking an experienced Health & Safety Professional to join our EU Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Team as a WHS Change Manager. In this strategic role, you'll collaborate with WHS partners to review, validate, and implement projects across our operational network, ensuring all changes align with Amazon's safety standards and receive proper stakeholder approval before deployment. You'll drive change management partnership with for example: Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) and other operations departments, manage change processes for new technology and projects, and provide expertise in incident investigations, all while working closely with regional WHS teams to maintain safety compliance. During Peak Season (October to December), you'll be located in an operational site (Customer Fulfillment, Sort Center, Delivery Station) performing either a Safety Specialist or WHS Manager role. Peak Season site locations may be in any country where Amazon operations are present in Europe (UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, etc.). Key job responsibilities

  1. Lead strategic safety initiatives and interventions by collaborating with ACES Teams, Operations Engineering, and WHS partners to scope, design, and execute high-impact projects focused on safety enhancement and reducing recordable and serious incidents in the network

  2. Drive excellence in project execution through robust change management methodologies, ensuring seamless implementation while maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards across assigned facilities

  3. Develop and maintain structured communication frameworks to provide regular progress updates to Regional WHS Managers, Project Managers, and key stakeholders

  4. Standardize the Change Management Processes across all the Business Units

  5. Strengthen safety culture by delivering coaching on incident investigations, risk assessment to WHS teams, while implementing robust verification mechanisms to ensure consistent adoption of Network Actions and Program Updates across the EU network

Basic Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English

  • Experience in program or project management

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience in leading large, cross functional projects

  • A Bachelor degree or equivalent level of qualification in line with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF)

  • NEBOSH or any other equivalent Health and Safety Management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience leading process improvements

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

  • Have a detailed understanding of global EHS regulatory requirements
