Amazon Pay is a high growth startup business within Amazon. Amazon Pay’s mission is to provide Amazon customers a superior paying experience anywhere they shop. Our objective is to make Amazon Pay a ubiquitous payment option for customers. Amazon Pay is now available in 18 countries, allowing buyers to leverage Amazon’s trusted, convenient, and rewarding wallet for third party purchase experiences online.

Role has strategic importance as we scale Amazon Pay to a 10x business and reach millions of stores over the next 5 years. We will achieve this through growth through integrating with payment service providers (PSP) and revamping our partnerships with Top 10 e-commerce solution providers (CSPs)

The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, works effectively with senior cross-functional teams and thrives in a fast paced, highly demanding and ambiguous environment.

You will own the most complex and largest business opportunities end-to-end that have broad customer, business, or cross-organizational impact

Successful candidate need to possess great business judgement, with a track record of strong project delivery, commercial negotiations and relationship management along with deep analytical acumen.

Key job responsibilities

  • Evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of partnerships and work with appropriate leaders and across all functional areas of Amazon to execute on the relationships

  • Develop strategies and lead projects that drive significant business impact, ranging from strategic alternatives assessments to greenfield partner opportunities.

  • Define the success criteria for Amazon Pay and partners including CX, commercial, terms and operations.

  • Execute and launch the deals/contracts working cross functionally with legal, Corp BD, compliance, business and product teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of procurement and source to pay processes and solutions or equivalent experience

  • Experience identifying trends and needs to improve an already closed large-scale technology deal

  • Experience in B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on hunting new business
