Amazon Senior Program Manager, EU FBA Supply Chain in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Description

Amazon currently seeks a creative, dynamic and experienced Sr. Program Manager to join FBA Supply Chain team to drive improvement in FBA inventory health. A successful Program Manager must be able to work independently, be comfortable with ambiguity, and be able to influence internal/external partners at all levels of the organization. This role will particularly suit someone with strong analytical abilities, relationship building skills and superb project management capabilities

Key job responsibilities

  • Deliver projects, features, processes and systems that improve inventory health and capacity management

  • Write business and technical requirements documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business and development teams.

  • Establish the business goals and supporting business metrics and indicators for success.

  • Analyze and solve business problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context

  • Identify, prioritize and communicate key areas for service and business improvement along the key Supply Chain metrics, including cost savings opportunities

Basic Qualifications

For this position, we expect..

  • Graduate BA or BS degree required,

  • Familiar with supply chain management

  • several years of program and project management experience (ideally within the SC domain)

  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Experience gathering and analyzing large amounts of data and delivering continuous business improvements.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional capacity

  • A strong appetite for teamwork, and a just-do-it attitude.

  • Well versed in Excel

Preferred Qualifications

Further Qualifications would be a plus..

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance or a Supply Chain/Operations discipline; MBA preferred

  • The right candidate thrives in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel

  • Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done

  • Willingness to “roll up sleeves and do what needs to get done” to consistently deliver results

  • Well versed in Excel and SQL
