Temporary full time position from 2/15/2024 to 11/20/2024 Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) 500+ hp John Deere tractor, 60 ft. air seeder, MacDon swather, John Deere round baler, John Deere combine with 45 ft header to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as wheat, hay; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Attend to live farm animals such as calving, vaccinating, tagging; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures.
