Mcm Elegante Hotel Sales Account Manager in Lubbock, Texas

MCM Elegante Hotel and Suites is hiring for an Sales Account Manager. We are a full service hotel offering meeting space, catering, banquets, guest rooms. We also have a full service restaurant and lounge on site.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Make sales calls to new and existing customers. Establish and maintain close contact with accounts through a variety of methods. Cultivate lead sources. Work with sales team on leads and follow ups to maintain their sales goals. Network with prospects to uncover other decision makers. Make cold calls via person or phone to businesses. This is a working position and will require you to go out of the office to find leads or make phone calls to out of town companies or school for business. You will need to research companies and find the best contact to speak with on their needs.

Participate in development of Marketing Plan.

Prepare sales figures and reports on a timely manner.

Develop and maintain rapport with competitor hotels, Convention and Visitors Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, lead sources and clients.

Work with the front desk to fulfill room nights and any special guest request, VIP packages, and billing.

Qualify leads and prospects gained from cold calls, sales blitzes and other sources.

Marketing of Meeting Space, sleeping rooms and banquets events. To obtain maximum revenue within the hotel.

Take, modify and cancel Guest reservations as needed.

Position reports to the Director of Sales

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills including listening and probe for details to close a sale.

Knowledgeable about the hotel industry, experience with a full-service hotel a plus.

Willing to go the extra mile to close a deal

Prior sales experience

Must have DL and vehicle for making sales calls and drive arounds.

Must be able to work nights and weekends if needed for events.

Must be able to pass a drug, background, credit and driver license screening. Must be able to present a valid and current drivers license and social security card for this process.

You will receive a wage plus commission of your sales and events you book and service at the hotel.Your earning potential is in your hands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
