Major/Essential Functions:

The School of Theatre and Dance seeks applications for part-time instructor for the online “Introduction to Cinema” course in the Fall 2021 semester. Experience working with diverse student populations and first-generation students is desirable. Responsibilities to include:

  • Teach 3 asynchronous online sections of the undergraduate course THA 2304 “Introduction to Cinema”

  • Supervise Theatre graduate students in their work as Teaching Assistants

  • Contribute to the mission of the department as a colleague

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience teaching introductory media course

  • Graduate degree in Film, Theatre, or related discipline
