Position Description:

Performs varied and complex administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and/or program. Requires independent judgment and application of established policies and procedures. Works under general supervision with evaluation based on overall results obtained.

Major/Essential Functions:

  • Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail.

  • Work within protocols laid out in policy documents.

  • Working knowledge of accounting.

  • Working knowledge of accounts payable process. Responsible for processing and coding of a/p checks.

  • Prepare monthly professorship budget reports.

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank reconciliations.

  • Preparing Deposits and Receipts for Contributions.

  • Work with Financial Aid in awarding scholarships.

  • Assist with board meetings.

  • Help with proctoring law school finals. Staffing external events as needed. Staffing the law school Hooding Ceremony.

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Accounting Software (Great Plains).

  • Experience with Banner and Cognos.

Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Three years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
