Position Description:

Performs routine administrative support or technical program assistance work. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Major/Essential Functions:

  • As face of the College in reception, greet those that walk in the Honors College, direct guests to staff and faculty, answer central Honors College phone line, and facilitate mail delivery.

  • Facilitate College space access through Outlook; facilitate Honors communication on email; use Microsoft Office Suite to build Teams, check-in, and communicate across College and units.

  • Create and maintain effective College inventory (including mobile and static technology, furniture, and equipment).

  • In collaboration with Dean and Associate Director of Systems/Administration, report, submit, and close work orders for building maintenance and IT.

  • Facilitate consumables purchasing and purchasing requests for items College needs on a recurring basis;

  • Facilitate parking passes as needed for guests or faculty that need to park when visiting.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Zoom.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle large volume of work.

  • Demonstrated ability to keep accurate, detailed records.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with students, customers or clients.
