General Labor / Shipping / Forklift Operator

Job Description

Kick-start your career in the manufacturing industry by joining our dynamic team. Each candidate will undergo an initial 2-3 days training in the Shipping department to grasp the full scope of day-to-day operations. Following this, you will transition to your designated role which could be Saw Operating, General Labor, Shipping, or Forklift Operating. Your daily responsibilities will include pulling material for the saw, collaborating effectively within a team, reading tape measures, performing simple mathematical calculations, and lifting up to 50 lbs consistently. Furthermore, you will receive training and certification to operate a forklift.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Loves Park, Illinois.

Work Environment

Our facility offers a very clean and well-lit work environment, where you become part of the team from your very first day. We prioritize a family-first approach and maintain an open-door policy with the Plant Manager. Be prepared to be on your feet for 8 hours per day and engage in a lot of lifting, especially repetitive lifting.
