"Job#: 2031205 Job Description: Apex Systems, a World-Class Technology Solutions Provider, is currently hiring for a Inventory Accountant on behalf of their client. Ideal candidates will have the experience below, please note only qualified applicants will be contacted.Position:Inventory Accountant Duration: Long term contract (two year threshold with intent to convert)Pay Rate Range:$28-32/hr. W2Location: Hybrid - every other week on-site in Northern CO, every other week work from homeDay to Day Responsibilities:Perform daily analysis of gross margin,inventory, and cost accounting reports for one region of the company Work closely with the Branch Managers and Branch personnel to ensure accurate reporting of margins andinventorytransactions.Special projects, and other duties as assigned by Sr Supervisor, Sr Manager, or other Accounting Management.Assist Regional Finance Managers and Analysts in researching anyinventorytransactions resulting in questionable margins orinventorylevels. Complete monthly SOX reports to ensure proper internal controls overinventorytransactions.Perform validity checks before postinginventoryadjustments submitted by branches. Assist Division personnel with consignmentinventorycontracts. Assist Division personnel with required yearly physical counts ofinventoryat each branch - including participation in physical counts ofinventory, reconciliation ofinventorycounts and adjusting of variances. Accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliation and transactional review. Special projects, and other duties as assigned byInventorySupervisors, Operations Accounting Sr. Manager, or other Operations Accounting Management.
